Pathway
CRF has a simple disciplemaking pathway under which all of our ministries and programs should fall:
Reconciling to God
Fellowshipping with Others
Reaching for the Nations
RECONCILING TO GOD
This is the entry point into our pathway where we learn that we already belong to God our Father through Jesus Christ by the Holy Spirit. We are accepted and forgiven through the birth, life, death, resurrection and ascension of Jesus. Our Father, through his unconditional love for us, draws us to himself through Jesus Christ. Our primary ministry for reconciling is our weekend worship service where we participate through WWFP – worship, word, fellowship and prayer. This step produces Beleivers.
(see 2 Corinthians 5:17-21, Romans 5:10 and Acts 2:42)
FELLOWSHIPPING WITH OTHERS
This is the next step on our pathway where we learn what we believe and how to live it. As we are reconciled (past tense) to God we learn what that means and how to put it into practice in fellowship with Jesus and with one another. Our primary ministry for fellowshipping is our small group ministry - Sunday morning discipleship class and Wednesday evening fellowship group. This step produces Disciples.
(see 1 Corinthians 1:7-9 and 1 John 1:3-7)
REACHING THE NATIONS
This is the final step on our pathway where we join with Jesus in the ongoing mission of the Father to reach the nations with the gospel of reconciliation by the power of the Holy Spirit. Our primary ministry for reaching is our ministry team, which is involved in evangelism and service. This step produces Workers.
(see Matthew 28:16-20 and Mark 13:10)
OUR LOGO
The vertical beam of the cross represents our Reconciling to God. The horizontal beam represents our Fellowshipping with Others. The outer circle represents our Reaching for the Nations. To-With-For demonstrates the outward flow and focus of a congregation: a congregation being and a congregation doing.
A place for you. You are already included. Come join us as we learn how to live it and how to tell the world!
